My doctor also gave me a second bottle of water to drink. He had an EKG done, and had a seven day ZIO patch applied. He had bloodwork and urine tests performed. He discovered a UTI that I didn't know I had. The day after this visit, he informed me that I had a UTI, and ordered an antibiotic. The day after this, he called and informed me the bacteria was susceptible to the antibiotic he had ordered. This doctor recently had moved, and I willingly drive longer, because I recognize the excellent care he gives.

The expectations ive had walking in were not only met but surpassed in every way.

Great PCP

I went in for style and he acted like I was an idiot. I'm 62 years old medical malpractice attorney, mother and grandmother. I KNOW what a stye is. I told him 2 nurses the previous day saw my eye and said I needed ointment. He said they're just nurses!!! Totally insensitive and insulting. My grandmother, mother in law both sisters and niece are nurses and my uncle is a reconstruction hand surgeon. He is young but needs better bedside manner. He really [...] me off.

Dr Loughney was AMAZING! It was my first encounter with him. He did a thorough review of my medical history. His kindness, compassion and true interest in my current problem was obvious. I am so thrilled he is my new PCP. He should be seen as the gold standard for a PCP. I hope he stays at Geisinger a long time.

Dr Loughney's explanation for plan of care and possible diagnosis was very thorough. He called me with lab results and further treatment plan

To my surprise the doctor read and understood all of my issues. Not only was he aware of my past problems but he also wanted to make sure the issues were resolved and addressed. I asked him for a Nexus letter related to my veterans status and he researched my issue and found sound medical evidence of my problems. He was swift and concise in writing the letter with professional evidence to back up the claim.

Dr. Is very knowledgeable, thorough with great bedside manner. He is an obvious asset to your system.
