Boozel is the first to actually listen, to actually visually see the problem and be a doctor who wants to take the time do his job, care and try to get me on the right path. Mental health is not easy but it takes patience, understanding, trust, honesty. Dr. Boozel has stepped up and shown that to my husband and I. That my husband doesn't have to try to manage it alone. For once I feel I can trust, yes I said trust my doctor.

I wound up with an emergency visit to see Dr. Boozel after going to the ER two different occasions for a cyst which they made worse when draining. They left it a ruptured abscess that hurt to no end. Dr Boozel wound up taking time with patience and understanding to get it not only drained properly, but cleaned it thoroughly. He took away the pain, while being caring not to hurt me even more. This response to the survey is a little late, because I just seen it in my email. I want to say I am ever so thankful for him as a Dr & a person! My cyst is healed properly & maybe the size of a mole now instead of a huge pussed mess! Of all the Dr's I have come in contact with so far in the Geisinger system, this man is phenomenal & you should be thankful to have him & aim to get others with his bedside manner!

I like Dr. Boozel. He's easy to talk with. I'm not sure that he's always accommodating to one's needs, like meds.

All I can say is WOW! Its been a very long time since I was impressed with a Geisinger doctor. Dr. Boozel has blown me away! I made an appointment with Dr. Boozel as my primary Dr did not have any openings. So I reluctantly scheduled at the Kulpmont office not knowing what to expect. I'm so used to having my health concerns brushed aside. More often than not I feel uncomfortable even making an appointment in Frackville because I know I will feel like I am being gaslighted. I did not have that experience at Kulpmont at all. The entire staff was professional. Dr. Boozel listened to my symptoms that have been going on for several weeks. Thank God I saw him! I had some pretty serious liver levels. He was intuitive enough to order the exact tests that were needed and thanks to him and the Hepatology department I should not have permanent damage to my liver because everything was tested promptly. Results were thoroughly explained to me. Dr. Boozel personally called me. I highly recommend Dr. Boozel.
