Satish Vangala, MD, is an internal medicine physician specializing in hospital medicine. He cares for hospitalized patients from admission to discharge. “Being a hospitalist, I coordinate care between specialists, address immediate needs, focus on recovery and help patients in the process of getting discharged from the hospital,” he says.
Dr. Vangala attended Kasturba Medical College in India, where he earned his medical degree. After medical school, he moved to the United States to complete his residency at the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education.
“The satisfaction I get from helping people while they are ill is immeasurable,” he notes. “This inspires me to love my profession.”
