About Mauricio Campos-Benitez

Dr. Campos-Benitez is board certified in neurological surgery. His clinical interests include minimally invasive spine surgery; spine oncology; peripheral nerve surgery; microdiscectomy of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine; and decompression of spinal cord stenosis. Dr. Campos-Benitez earned his medical degree from Facultad de Medicina Pontifica Universidad Javeriana. He completed a residency at University Hospital San Rafael in Bogota, Colombia, and another residency at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Campos-Benitez completed his fellowship at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He speaks English and Spanish.

    Dr. Campos was fine in the limits of what he could do for me. Despite the good vibes I got from him, he wasn't the silver bullet I had hoped for. [...] and I'm still in pain that a lot of time ranges to severe. Not Dr. Campos's fault. I think in other situations he'd be my go to guy.
