Mary is by far the best care provider I've ever had. She is so good that when she moved to Danville a number of years ago I decided to have my annual visit in Danville so I could continue with Mary, even though it is now a two hour drive. Mary is kind, caring, and genuinely cares.

My provider was exceptional. She took genuine care and time to explain every last bit of information to me including showing me documentation to read, which is great for me as I learn better from reading and I myself work in medicine and so it is helpful for me to see the fine print and evidence based medicine. She made sure I understood every aspect of care and gave me the opportunity to voice my concerns or even adjust courses of action if I was uncomfortable. She was phenomenal.

Mary is truly incredible! She not only listened to my concerns, she ensured I had appropriate testing! Mary was quick to recognize artery calcification on my mammogram and knew about recent research showing the correlation between this and CAD. Mary reached out to my PCP to ensure I had appropriate testing. Mary also noted my need for a repeat dexascan related to my early surgical menopause and osteopenia. (My own PCP did not reorder this despite me reaching out previously). The newDexascan showed worsening osteopenia and requires supplementation along with diet. Mary very clearly treats each person as a whole and not just a one issue diagnosis. Mary ensures she is up to date on the most recent research and shares her knowledge with her patients. Mary is so incredibly kind and supportive. She is so prompt to respond to any MyChart messages. Geisinger is so lucky to have her as a provider and I am beyond blessed to have her as mine!! Thank you so much Mary!!

I didn't understand why I had to be seen. Thought it was a Med check.The Dr explained why an exam was being done at that time. She was very kind explaining the importance of the appointment.

Through all of my appointments and medical problems, Ms Walters is one of the best providers I've ever had. She Is thorough. She Listens to me, answers questions, addresses all of my concerns, offers suggestions, orders tests if needed, and follows up personally. When my CT results came back, she didn't send me an email. She called me first thing in the morning to discuss it. That hasn't happened often with others. I wish I could see her for all of my problems, across all of the specialties!
