Dr Rako was excellent. He did a thorough examination and fully listened to my concerns. He took the time to answer all questions and fully explained what the next step is in my treatment regimen.

I really haven't talked to Dr. Rako since the surgery but I have talked to those working with him concerning me. However, I was treated excellently

As far as I am concerned, Dr Rako is the best hip surgeon around. He did an excellent operation and he is so personable and always is there when you need him.

Dr Rako & [...] are FANTASTIC! Dr. Rako fixed me after I had NUMEROUS surgeries & 2 infections from a different facility. I was ready to give up but Dr Rako promised he'd fix me & HE DID! I can walk and I am infection free thanks to Doc Rako!!! All thanks to him I am able to fulfill my dream and be a nurse again when I didn't think I'd be able to. I owe him so much! He wouldn't give up on me and that means everything to me! Don't ever let him leave because he really is special!!

Dr Rako and his entire team, from day one at evaluation were phenomenal! Very concerned..always explained EVERYTHING, as well as OPTIONS!

I came for a supposed check up for Bi-Lateral Hip replacements. Nothing was really talked about my hip condition.They took Blood Pressure and temp.

Answered all questions and explained everything to me.

The doctor was great. Spent the time I needed explaining everything and options going forward.

Dr Rako had me come in because I had a fear that I did damage to my hip. He had me come in even though I didn't have an appointment. Took an Xray and examined me and assured me everything was ok. I was very grateful.

Doctor was excellent! Very caring and very easy to talk too. Explained my condition and a plan.

Saw [...]. He applied steri strips and answered questions I had. Dr. Rako came in also and answered questions too. This team is excellent! Can't say how well informed I felt throughout the whole process.

Dr. Rako is extremely patient, explained what was happening, his plan of action and next steps. He makes sure that he explains everything on a level a patient can understand. HE SETS THE BAR HIGH!

Just no personality. No bedside manner I was treated like a number and no compassion. If I was in there 15 min.

Dr Rako explained everything and showed us CAT scans. He was excellent and have complete confidence in him

Couldn't have been better

As a nurse, I have worked with thousands of surgeons. Now as a patient for 3 + years I have seen multiple surgeons. Hands down Dr.Kyle Rako MD is a unicorn in today's world of receiving less than the bare minimum of care! It's profit over patients but NOT with Dr. Rako. He knew I had a traumatic experience [...] last year. He unlike every surgeon actually listens, cares and is empathetic, kind and so confident in his skills He reassured me I was safe! He is extremely humble, down to earth, which is very unusual for a surgeon! Even though now I have complex PTSD from my [...] nightmare I had no doubts he would take care of me and all his patients like they were his own mother! He is very respectful and extremely intelligent. He didn't just tell me this is what I'm doing, he explained in detail and showed me my scan results to help me understand the severity of me needing a total knee replacement! Please [...], appreciate what we have in Dr. Rako and do everything in your power to keep him here! I learned the hard way bigger is always better and the Dr. Rako's of the world are Rare! He is one in a million!! I was so pleased with him I asked for business cards and already referred 4 people to him! I am extremely picky and have never done that! I am extremely grateful he chose to come to NEPA when obviously with his background he could have gone anywhere but chose your hospital! He is a gem and I implore you to do everything to keep him happy, well compensated as he so deserves so he doesn't leave our hospital! I first had a visit with Dr Rako on his first day at Geisinger and am very pleased and comfortable being in his care. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain and answer my concerns about my care at Geisinger.

I have had many bad experiences leading to the reason for my visit, causing me to lack trust in all medical doctors, but Dr. Rako made me feel the best when it came to my situation.

He was amazing.. Very smart and took his time to answer questions.. Listen to my needs and worked with me to make a plan that worked for both of us

Dr Rako is very knowledgeable and very thorough when explaining things was patient and kind and respectful while answering any questions I had.

I loved that they offered me a nonsergy option for my knee.
