Gary Kemberling, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Geisinger 65 Forward Health Center in Shamokin Dam, Pa. His clinical interests include geriatric medicine, sports medicine and skin procedures. He has worked at Geisinger in Selinsgrove since 1992, where he primarily worked as a physician to older adults.
Dr. Kemberling earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Delaware Valley College before attending the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. He then completed his residency at Geisinger Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Kemberling is an avid fly fisherman, a football enthusiast and a board member of the Shikellamy Braves Foundation. He works as the team physician and school physician for both the Shikellamy School District and Midd-West School District and he enjoys spending time with his family.
