Dr. Pagnotto is a hospitalist specializing in family medicine and subspecializing in hospice and palliative care. His clinical interests include hospital medicine, geriatric medicine, hospice medicine and sports medicine.
A proud alum of Jersey Shore High School and then Penn State for his undergraduate work, Dr. Pagnotto earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center.
"I love working with my colleagues and the extreme privilege of treating patients in the hospital," says Dr. Pagnotto, adding that his love of science and of helping people inspired his choice of career. He's proud of his work in helping Geisinger Lewistown Hospital achieve a 5-Star CMS rating, as well as his contributions to the hospitalist medicine service in Geisinger's Lewistown, Jersey Shore and Muncy facilities. He was the first medical director of Geisinger's Skilled Nursing Facility program.
Dr. Pagnotto is certified by the American Osteopathic Association in family, palliative and hospice medicine.
When he's not at work, Dr. Pagnotto, a self-professed "avid history buff," enjoys collecting model trains and spending time with his family and two golden retrievers, Dusty and Baloo.
