Ms. McHail is a certified registered nurse practitioner specializing in women's health. Her clinical interests include adolescent/young adult medicine as well as managing normal prenatal care. She enjoys counseling on various contraceptive options and working with patients to identify which method is best for them during different stages of their life.
Ms. McHail, who earned her degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, loves educating patients and their partners on all aspects of women's health. She enjoys seeing her patients come back year after year, and is particularly honored when they refer their family, friends and coworkers to her.
This native of St. Marys, Pa., moved to State College in 2008 and never wants to leave the area. She and her husband are Penn State alumni.
In her spare time, Ms. McHail enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and her dog.

Jodi was the type of doctor everyone should see, especially with pregnancy. As a second time mother, I didn't have many questions that needed answers, but when I did she was very informative. She never pushed me to do things I didn't want to do. She also listened to anything I said or was feeling and seemed like she really cared. I believe very strongly that a mother's intuition begins during pregnancy and is very reliable. Whether she also believed that, she supported me either way.

Jody did a biopsy on the office. 1. I wish you were allowed to have better numbing options in the office. 2. I wish she would have told me what she thought the problem was instead of having to wait for the biopsy results.
