About Jill Lori Martin

Jill Martin is a certified physician assistant specializing in hospital medicine. She treats adults for a full spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions in hospital settings such as coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, stroke, arrhythmia, asthma/chronic obstructive disease exacerbation, acute upper respiratory infection, acute respiratory failure, pneumonia, sepsis, acute renal failure and GI bleeds. She has a clinical interest in gastroenterology and nephrology.
“I love my colleagues and the fact that we take care of such a variety of patients,” Ms. Martin says.
She earned her degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
“It's a privilege to care for someone when they are at a vulnerable point,” says Ms. Martin. “I enjoy working as a PA because it combines my interest in people with science.”
Originally from State College, Ms. Martin lived in Michigan and Texas before returning to Pennsylvania, where she loves “the natural beauty of the area.”
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as playing tennis, running, reading and watching Penn State Nittany Lions football.
