Jessica Carney, DO, is a pediatric hospitalist specializing in treating children throughout the hospital, including the pediatric acute care areas, the emergency department, labor and delivery, the neonatal unit and pediatric intensive care units.
Interested in graduate medical education, Dr. Carney volunteers her time as a “mock code assistant” to facilitate medical training simulations for future pediatricians in residency.
Dr. Carney is board certified and holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Masters of Biomedical Science with a concentration in Anatomy from University of South Florida.
She grew up in a military family and has lived all over the country and the world. “I moved to Pennsylvania as Geisinger offered me my ideal job in a great place to raise a family,” she says.
