I have a lot of confidence in Dr. Wheeler because I view her as being extremely educated in her field and quite knowledgeable. I sometimes wish we would go into deeper explanations or even to go into my past family history when talking about my present conditions. Our conversations are always amenable and productive yet I would still like more when situations like the one I was in concerning the emergency room visit, could have been gone into a little more thoroughly. By that I mean my CAT scan scan results. I realize she must have squeezed me in between appointments since I had no scheduled date with her until spring. The fact that she did take me to discuss my emergency room visit really made me feel good. I am very appreciative that I have her for my PCP. I hope she realizes that.

I have seen many doctors in my 76 years. Geisinger doctors are very good, but Dr. Wheeler is really outstanding. She answers all questions thoroughly, and Is never In a hurry. Some doctors are very brief and seem rushed, but with DrWheeler you leave her office knowing that every concern has been addressed thoroughly. She gets back to me on the patient portal almost Immediately, while others have me waiting for days. I really can't say enough of this doctor. She Is an outstanding example of what all doctors could be.

Dr. Wheeler is definitely one of the best doctors I have ever had. Not only is she smart, but she truly listens to me and tries to help any situation. I present to her. If sometimes she does not go into deep discussion about blood work or tests, etc., she has her reasons. She always tries to get me what I need in terms of extra care, medical equipment, and so forth. What can I say? She gets an A+ plus from me.

Dr. Wheeler is one of the only reasons I stay with Geisinger. She is a wonderful dr, who acts like a dr and not just a mouthpiece for the hospital. She listens to me and acknowledges my concerns. I believe she must has super powers, because whenever I email her, she responds. She doesn't have an assistant who has never met me respond, she does. I don't know why other drs are unable to do this. She keeps up with all my medical issues and with all the specialists I see. She always answers my questions and is always will to work with me to try different things to help me to continue to improve my health. She Is the prime definition of what a primary care physician should be.
