Dr Piper is wonderful, as I've been telling everyone! In fact, a family member is now also in the process of seeing him.

Dr Piper is a wonderful surgeon! He is a kind and caring doctor. He makes you feel at ease. He genuinely cares about his patients. I had both of my knees replaced by Dr Piper and had outstanding results! He is the best!!!

Dr Piper was excellent as far as discussing pros & cons of surgery, risks and detailed explanations of procedure..

They explained that there was no rush or pressure to schedule my 2nd hip surgery and that I could take as long as I needed or not do it at all if I changed my mind. They explained that the bone on bone, arthritis condition would not improve or get better by itself, but continued therapy exercises could improve the muscle and other soft tissue issues over time, possibly a year or more. After I hit 80 years old or older, age would become a consideration. They did warn me that injections of any kind, PRP or other, were not recommended after full hip surgery in that area because of the risk of infection and the difficult procedures to remedy that.

Doctor explained the surgery process to me very well. He was very thorough and kind.

The provider took the time to understand what the previous provider had done, and after a thorough discussion he took over the case.

Dr Piper has been a very good doctor for my recent knee surgery.

The whole team from my surgeon and [...] and all of the people involved, gave clear explanations, pros and cons, before the surgery and included pre-care exercises and advice, then at the time of the surgery and then also following the surgery. The quality of care continued to be consistently top notch, excellent!

I had been seeing a UPMC Doctor about my hip but, he didn't seem to care about me and did not explain anything. UPMC Dr spent maybe 45 seconds with me. Dr. Piper took his time, explained everything, listened to me, and genuinely seemed to care about me. Geisinger Doctors RULE and will be my first option from now on!!!!!!!

Dr Piper is excellent and runs a well oiled team I have only good things to say about the care I received would definitely recommend
