About Jackson Towers

Jackson Towers, DPM, is a podiatric physician who specializes in foot and ankle services, diabetic foot care and lower extremity wound care. With a special interest and extensive experience in wound care, managing diabetic comorbidities in the foot and ankle, pediatric podiatry and sports medicine, he has expertise to address a wide range of podiatric needs.

Motivated by the well-being of his patients, Dr. Towers excels in collaborating with other physicians, specialists and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive, well-rounded care, even for the most complex cases. "I love seeing the progress and improvements that patients make in my care," he says. "It's incredibly rewarding to hear, ‘Thanks Doc, I feel much better.’”

Dr. Towers is originally from Pittsburgh and moved to this area to pursue his education and explore the state. He completed a prestigious pre-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on surgical skills and clinical expertise, before earning his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Committed to community service, Dr. Towers volunteers at the Geisinger Marathon in Scranton, where he provides acute care for injured runners, hydration and post-marathon physical therapy. "I saw a need in the community, and that’s part of what inspired me to become a provider," he explains. He also has voluntarily participated in ACFAS Scientific Literature Review initiatives to stay current with the latest medical literature and podiatry-related advancements.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Towers is a beekeeper and fitness enthusiast. He enjoys delving into history lessons, experimenting with new recipes and sharing his culinary creations with others.
