The Dr was thorough and friendly

Very helpful

She seemed to be rushed and not want to listen to my concerns. It was my first derm exam and she asked me why I was there. It wasn't thorough. I wasn't able to ask many questions.

The physician was outstanding. She listened carefully to my concerns, was beyond thorough, explained my diagnosis and treatment options in a clear and easy-to-understand way, and made me feel heard and respected. I never felt rushed and felt confident in the care plan we discussed. Her knowledge, empathy, and professionalism truly stood out.

I was very impressed with Dr. A. I knew she was a relatively new dermatologist with Geisinger. I found her very knowledgeable, attentive, thorough, and friendly. She clearly communicated throughout the exam while identifying any areas of concern along with the treatment options. After discussing the options, we chose cryotherapy which was performed during the same visit. I would feel very comfortable seeing Dr. A again for any dermatology concerns.

Could not totally understand what doctor was saying. She could not understand me.

First time being treated by Dr. Araoye. She was very thorough and answered my questions and explained the treatment.

My concerns were pretty straightforward and didn't require much discussion or decision making

My first visit with this doctor. On the positive side, I found her to be confident, and warm. She also provided samples of a lotion to try on my legs. Her exam was thorough. On the less positive side, her communication style s not strong. She talked facing away from me, while she scrolled through the computer, and mumbled a bit. I would also like to see a provider In more professional clothing.

She was exceptional. She explained everything to me in details. She made sure I understood all instructions for post care.

I had an issue that was not addressed.

Very dismissive. I I had several spots that I was concerned about. The provider mumbled under her breath what the spots were called did not explain anything. It was a very strange interaction. Zero bedside manner and not personable at all. I felt like I was an inconvenience to her.

Feel that she needs to be a better listener and hear what the patient's concerns are. I feel confident that she could be a good doc but she talks over you, making assumptions, before you can express your self. Needs to slow down, too hasty. Professionally knowledgeable but not a listener. Needs maturation. Wishing her the best however.

The doctor was cold, clinical, zero bedside, so to speak, manner. No conversation. No talking to me in terms to understand what was going on with my health issue.

Purpose of my visit was for a full body exam to check for any problem areas plus to check 2 specific spots of concern. To do so I needed to fully undress. Dr. A rushed in without knocking exposing me to whoever might be passing in the hall, as I was standing there naked except for my panties. Even tho she is a female it was very awkward and I asked if I should still put on the gown. This was totally unprofessional and rude. There was no apology. Additionally the exam seemed very rushed. For these reasons I have to question if I want to see her again.

She didn't take my concerns seriously. I was disappointed as it takes so long to get in. Although I'm happy my skin concerns isn't life threatening, it is irritating and bothersome daily. She shrugged it off and didn't offer any recommendations. I thought I could schedule to come back for removal at a later time which was fine but she didn't indicate this in check out so the front desk couldn't schedule.

She was excellent and have already referred 3 people to her.

Asked a simple question and was told by her that "our session has ended you will have to schedule another appointment"

She asked me about my visit but did not appear to listen to me when I explained my condition. Her advice was to come back when the problem was worse, I could not get a appointment for a month so naturally the rash would be less visible.

Didn't really seem to care at all.

Physician seemed rushed, did not establish good rapport, did not inspire confidence

The doctor was extremely friendly didn't seem like she was trying to rush me out. Explained everything and answered all of my questions. I am extremely glad I chose this dermatologist.

She seemed stressed. Not a good bed side personality.

The provider was not professional at all! She was very rude when asking about a continuation of a prescription from a different facility and provider. She stopped typing, turned and looked straight at me and stated very sternly, "Look, when you need the prescription refilled, let me know and I will refill it!" I was in disbelief at how disrespectful and offensive she was with this response. The last facility & provider I saw, preemptively (with consent) completed a body scan on the initial appointment to have a baseline incase of any future changes. Your provider would not even do this and only relied heavily on me not having a history of skin cancer as if those who get it are only people who have had it before. She was very distant and cold during any conversation. When the appointment was coming to a close, while typing, she simply stated, "OK, we are done". There was no recap to the appointment, no closing greeting, and she did not show or tell me the way out of the building. This was the worst experience with any physician I have had in my life! I immediately called Geisinger after the appointment to switch to another provider because this interaction was so terrible!

Dr A was helpful, knowledgeable, listened and responded with care and kindness and good information and guidance.

I was scheduled for a 15 minute appointment with a new Dermatologist with the Scenery Park State College office. This woman is probably a very competent physician, but she is working under difficult conditions. I have to assume she knows better, but is acting as requested.

She made me feel like I was wasting her time and I felt judged for trying to take preventive measures with my skin since I had never had a skin check before. I also did not feel like my exam was thorough and it felt very rushed compared to others that I have talked to that have been to a dermatologist appointment for the same reason. My whole purpose for going was to be preventative and if I was told I don't need to go every year then I would readjust but instead she made me feel bad that I took an appointment away from someone who may of needed it more than me but I wouldn't have known that I had nothing to worry about at this time without going to a doctor.

Provider did not make an effort to form any type of bond. I went because of a spot on my arm and when I asked about a mole on my face was told to schedule another appointment if I wanted a full body exam.

She cared about the whole of me. My sister was with me, she included her when explaining the relevant concepts to us. She was exceptionally kind
