Excellent care. Dr. Ortiz provided me with help and clear answers for all of my skin concerns. I instantly thought about referring a family member who struggles with the same skin condition. I left the exam having a much better understanding and less worry. I was so thankful for his help!

Dr. Ortiz is the first Dermatologist that I've gone to, but my long history of unfortunate health issues has afforded me thw ability to have met a lot of physicians. Dr. Ortiz is one of the BEST!! Dr. Ortiz explained everything about the minor biopsy that I had to have done. He then gave me a thorough whole body skin examining (I was concerned about some tiny additional brown spots I was seeing) and he assure/d me that they were of no concern and informed me of the wait time for the biopsy results to return, but he didn't seem overly concerned, but that it should still be tested. He is also trying to improve a "painful/pulling" scar that I have from a 10 year old prior tracheotomy. HE'S A GREAT DOCTOR! ATTENTIVE, EDUCATED, INFORMATIVE, CONFIDENT AND ALWAYS MAKES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE AND HEARD. (not dismissive like many "old school dermatologists whom I've seen in the past (not with Geisinger)

Dr Ortiz performed my customary cosmetic procedures, but this time, he performed two biopsies. As usual, he kept me Informed each step of the way, and, as usual, he did not disappoint. Dr. Ortiz is adept, strategic, and artistic. In addition, he has always been attentive, courteous, and kind.I am blessed and grateful to be the patient of Dr. Ortiz.
