Daniel Valdes, DO

Daniel J. Valdes, DO, is an internal medicine physician specializing in the treatment of complex chronic conditions, diseases and acute illnesses. In his role on the inpatient unit, Dr. Valdes addresses a variety of medical conditions, such as asthma, headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, neck pain, arthritis, constipation and myofascial release.
Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Valdes’ clinical expertise and commitment to patient care let him effectively manage a broad range of health issues.
Originally from New Jersey, he earned his undergraduate degree at Penn State and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Rowan University before completing his residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. “I fell in love with the area and the chance to be a part of a large healthcare system,” says Dr. Valdes, adding that he gets particular satisfaction from treating acute medical issues and seeing his patients’ health improve.
He’s a self-described “big Penn State Football fan,” reflecting his deep ties to the university and its community.
