Christina Delong Appleman, CRNP

I have been Christina's patient for over 20 years. I absolutely love her because she takes the time and listens to all my questions concerns especially regarding my family history of cancer and my fears. She is the best provider in the system. I wish we had more providers like her in our system.

She is one of the rare few that listen Instead of just rushing to check boxes. She takes into consideration the whole health picture- not just tunnel vision on one thing. Very grateful for her care and advice given.

Christina is an excellent NP.She made me feel relaxed and spent times answering medical questions. I never felt hurried.

Christina was very empathetic and truly listened, as I described my perimenopause symptoms. My sleep has been extremely poor for months and while other providers are quick to attribute it to anxiety, she offered a more rational explanation. She spent way more time with me than I expected and clearly explained the hormonal fluctuations. She suggested a new contraceptive and checking the FSH levels. I felt good about the care plan. She is an exceptional provider!!!

The provider was excellent with easing my daughter's mind nerves. She answered questions professionally and is a true advocate for women's health.

Christina Appleman is amazing! I have been experiencing issues for some time. She is the only provider that thought outside the box and tried to rule out conditions. Because of her willingness to explore other possibilities for the symptoms I've had for a long time it was found that I do have a condition that is requiring a biopsy. So thankful for her.

Again, she showed care as if I was her family. I will continue to communicate with her. We need more of human beings like her

Excellent provider

Christina Appleman is in a class of her own. Many provide excellent Women's Health care and treatment. Then, there is Christina, who speaks to the TOTAL patient .and actually listens.never rushes and makes her patients feel they are her only concern.which is true for the amount of time we are BLESSED to be in her presence and in her care.

I have been in Christina's care for 20 years and my pregnancy 16 years ago. I put my full trust in her knowledge. She is very compassionate and understanding and explains everything. I never want to see another provider for my GYN care other than her. With my family history of cancer she answers every one of my questions and eases my fear. She is a true treasure and a provider that can never be replaced.

She was so knowledgable. She listened well and answered questions as well as gave advice. She spoke in a calm manner. She was friendly and extremely nice. She made sure to tell me before I left that I could call anytime with any questions.

Appleman was amazing, and it felt like for the first time, my problems were listened to and understood. We really need more doctors in OBGYN who specialize in menopause. I understand pregnate mothers take precendence, but menopause is not fun at all and it deserves to be addressed.

My first visit Christina Appleman was very, very positive and reassuring for me. She immediately made me feel at ease and that my concerns were legitimate. She answered all my questions, explained what was happening, why I had these issues, and gave me advice on handling my post-menopausal concerns and how to take care of myself at my age. She and I are close in age and I felt totally heard and felt validated and cared for.

Christina is the best of the best as far as care provided by Geisinger staff and I can tell her team feels the same way. I was told several times that Christina cares about pain management and would be using medication to numb my uterus-even though the biopsy would be over quickly it is painful and her staff said she sees no reason for unnecessary pain
