When I came to the clinic I had recently been in the hospital for 3 nights in Honesdale because I had gone to the ER because I had was experiencing heart palpitations and felt really bad. And it turns out I was in atrial fibrillation, which I had never had before, and was still fibrillating when I saw Dr. Peters two days after I was discharged from the hospital. I was not feeling well when I got to the appointment, and was extremely anxious and Dr. Peters helped me understand the problem In ways that made me feel way less anxious. He mapped out a step by step plan of action that Included a cardioversian to get me out of AFIB at least temporarily, and a more long term plan that Includes medication and possible other procedures that will hopefully control the problem going forward. I have the utmost confidence In Dr. Peters and feel very well cared for. As a new "heart" patient, this means the world to me.
