About

Beth Ann White is a certified registered nurse practitioner specializing in hospital medicine. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Dr. White treats adults admitted to the hospital for a full spectrum of medical conditions, such as heart failure, acute kidney injuries, heart attacks, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD exacerbation, respiratory failure, cirrhosis complications, bowel obstructions, diverticulitis and post-operative/procedure patients for overnight monitoring.
Dr. White earned her doctoral degree as well as her nurse practitioner certification from The Pennsylvania State University.
She’s been recognized with the DNP Student Champion Award as well as the Janet Williamson Excellence in Teaching Award.
As an associate teaching professor and coordinator of the Family and Adult Geriatric Primary Care Programs at Penn State’s College of Nursing, Dr. White says, “I’m proud to educate the next generation of nurse practitioners.” But, she adds, “I still love caring for patients and serving my home community, which is why I continue to maintain clinical practice.”
