About Thorsen Wayne Haugen

Dr. Haugen is board certified in otolaryngology and fellowship trained in head and neck surgical oncology, microvascular reconstruction and robotic surgery. His clinical interests include many aspects of ENT, with his primary interest being in the surgical treatment and reconstruction of head and neck tumors. He attended medical school at Loma Linda University where he graduated with the distinction of Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his otolaryngology residency at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Haugen completed a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Outside of the office, Dr. Haugen has an interest in medical mission work.

    Dr. Haugen is a very good doctor. He informs and educates me as necessary. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional but pleasant and has a wonderful careside manner about him. I trust this doctor completely. He cares about his patients and makes you look forward to any appts.

    I sent this provider a message prior to my appointment to explain that I was seeing him for dizziness. In the office visit, he asked why I was seeing him. I explained that it was for dizziness. He then stated that he doesn't see patients for dizziness. Clearly, he didn't read my myg message. Now I have to wait until January to see a different ENT provider, a longer wait that could have been avoided, not to mention the copay.

When I first got cancer 5 years ago, the man gave me his personal cell number so I could reach him at any time and he always answers or responds very quickly.
