I have decided to part ways with Gesinger Dermatology since this appointment. The Dr. I saw was not very pleasant and was zero help. I felt like I was there just to give her money. Not once did she look at my skin on my face. Instead she belittled me for not wanting to take birth control even after I explained why I was uninterested in using that as a remedy. She also would not even have a conversation with me about more natural treatments saying there's "no scientific evidence they work" which is a complete lie. I felt like all she wanted was to write prescriptions. She never even asked what products I use and I haven't seen her in nearly two years because she couldn't make my last scheduled appointment. Biggest waste of time I've had with a doctor. I've been coming to this dermatology office since high school but will be looking for a new one.

I feel like she is rushing and made me feel like I should have went to the urgent care. And would not schedule a dermatologist to remove my cyst instead referred me to surgery. Unfortunate and bad experience.

The provider spent most of the visit emphasizing annual skin screening isn't necessary. I'll be seeking another dermatology evaluation because my skin concerns were dismissed at Geisinger.

The doctor just doesn't reach out to you when you have a problem about your procedure on the portal. Still waiting for a response.

She even went to the point if I had a problem I was worried about she gave me a number to contact her directly. 1st time a doctor went that far to answer any questions I had. She is excellent

Overall a rushed exam. Weird that I had to ask to have doc check my scalp. Also seemed rushed that I was there for an annual body check for arras. She said don't come back annually, if ptoblem email her. How would I kmow if a mple or something was a problem or needed to be tested.

I felt she was only interested in telling me that I don't need to return year after year
