Erin Connolly, MD, is a family medicine doctor providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. With a special focus on women's reproductive health and gynecological care, she offers evaluation and management of menopausal symptoms, vaginitis, pelvic pain and abnormal uterine bleeding. Her procedural skills include IUD and Nexplanon insertions and removals, contraceptive counseling, colposcopy, trauma-informed care and endometrial biopsy. She also offers minor skin and sports medicine procedures.
Dr. Connolly is deeply committed to inclusivity and provides personalized and respectful treatment to all her patients, including those in the LGBTQ+ community and those who need gender-affirming care. "I love empowering patients through education and collaborative decision-making, allowing them to take an active role in their healthcare journey," she says.
A Northeastern Pennsylvania Health Care Foundation Scholar, Dr. Connolly has been recognized with several awards for her outstanding leadership, including being elected chief resident and awarded Resident of the Year. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and has maintained her credentialing as a certified lactation counselor, supporting her breastfeeding patients.
Originally from Shickshinny in northeastern Pennsylvania, Dr. Connolly moved to central PA to be closer to family. She’s actively involved in volunteerism and leadership activities at Geisinger and in the community.

I really like Dr Connelly! I first saw her in January for a pre-surgery physical. I decided to stay with her under her care. She listens, shares her knowledge and concern for any questions I have.
