  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 40 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Dr. Sulman is an excellent provider and I would recommend doing what is necessary to keep him on staff

Only my second visit with Dr. Sulman - he probably gets a very good - I am holding back only because I have only had a couple of visits with him. I like that he was proactive on getting an EKG baseline - preventative medicine approach.

I have no problems at all with Dr. Sulman or his staff. So far he is the best primary care doctor I have ever had. Switching to him was the best choice I have every made for my medical care!! He really cares and listens and knows what to do about the issues. He doesn't brush things off or act like something is just in your head. It is nice to know your problems are taken seriously. My health has seriously improved since I have switched from JV medical center to Dr. Sulman. SO A HUGE THANK YOU TO HIM AND HIS WONDERFUL STAFF!

My time is as valuable as yours. You need to keep office visit time that is scheduled closer not 30 to 45 minutes later.

Aug 17, 2015
I had a previous Rx that didn't work for me. I had requested a medication that I had used years previously effective and without issues. was given Rx for yet a different medication which made me dizzy. I often have issues with meds....many allergies and knowing something that works seems a reasonable request to have it prescribed.

Dr. Sulman has been my primary care physician and has always been attentive, informed, knowledgeable, and responsive to my concerns. His detailed examination of any relevant issues is thorough and accurate. June 30, 2015
I ALWAYS deliver a 1-page letter to my MD about a week before appt. This is to alert him to any of my concerns. Dr Sulman answers the questions in my session and both he and I maximize the patent-Doctor time. I like it
June 30, 2015
I did have concern that when I checked the notes for this appointment, on My Geisinger, the physician made a note that I did was not experiencing shortness of breath. This was completely incorrect. I even described to him that I had not been able to walk all the way into the building due to shortness of breath. I had to stop to use my rescue inhaler and recover, before I could continue entering the building. The staff at the reception desks had offered a wheel chair because of their concern. My whole point of being at the appointment was due to breathing difficulty associated with COPD. The reason this is of concern to me is that I would like to have an accurate record so that others who are treating me can see my history.
June 24, 2015
Care provider is outstanding.
June 19, 2015
It was obvious that the doctor was only filling in for Dr. Zuniga. I addressed a concern I had and he pretty much brushed off my concern.

Dr. Sulman is a very caring doctor.
March 30, 2015
Dr. Sulman always listens to me and takes any concern I have seriously. He is always thorough and doesn't rush you out. I am happy to refer others to him.
March 28, 2015
I felt like Dr. Sulman was in a rush to get through the appointment. I didn't feel that he was concerned over my health and that he was more concerned with just sending the specimen off to be tested than anything else. In the end, I was told that I would be referred to urology and that they would be contacting me to make an appointment. No one from urology ever called me and I wound up making the appointment myself. I found out later that no message was ever sent to urology. It's hard to trust a care provider after that.
March 27, 2015

Feb 9, 2015
just simply a wonderful doctor!
Feb 9, 2015
Dr. Sulman is always a complete professional at the same time, he is both caring and easy to talk to. I have full confidence in his recommendations. This was an unusually long appt. (scheduled I was told, for 40 minutes) because there was pent-up demand, especially in regards to one serious on-going issue to which other physicians (specialists) have been attending. However, there was a shortage of time to sort out my medications for an UTI which was diagnosed after my appointment ended. Since this caused problems (because of a phone issue), I down-rated the medication-related, followup-related items (4,5,6). This was a fluke and not his fault. I spoke to Dr. Burke on the phone the next day, to resolve the problem (NOT after hours) and so I am including in my scoring, how I feel about that interaction as well as the phone snafu which necessitated it. Dr. Sulman and I covered a great deal of material in the time he allotted for our discussion, which was as always, generous.
Feb 7, 2015
I felt very dismissed by the Doctor just because I did not have a fever and was just having pain and discomfort. He spent very little time with me during my visit. I was very disappointed by his bedside manner.
