Dr. Chappen has been my doctor for over 20 years. She has always been professional, friendly and concerned about my general health. I will miss her as my primary doctor. Hopefully I can find someone as good as she is.

This physician is as outstanding as she was when I became her patient almost 25 years ago. Over the years I have recommended her many times.

Always comfortable with advice & care thru many episodes. I will miss Dr. Chappen's guidance over many years and hope her new position gives her much satisfaction. Best wishes to her at work and at home.

even after putting on the magnifying glasses, doctor was unable to see my stitches to remove them.

I can in so dizzy I could barely walk, she did not even look in my ears to see if I had a ear infection just told me to "drink/eat stuff with sugar" than asked me if I needed a dr excuse this is unexceptional and here I am over a week later and I'm not as dizzy but I still can not function 100% and am still half dizzy and having ringing and echoing in my right ear.

Dr. Chappen has been my doctor and my family's doctor for many years, and always provided excellent professional care. She has our complete trust to provide our family with the best of care.

I was impressed that the doctor came into the exam room completed the exam and actually was familiar with what had transpired at my last visit and referred to it. I had been instructed to begin taking a supplement at the previous years visit by another doctor. Dr. Chappen had obviously taken a few minutes to review my records and familiarize herself again with my particulars.

Unfortunately this care provider, Dr. Chappen, will be leaving the practice and informed me as such. I hate to see her leave. First I had Dr. Janet Lewis leave a couple years ago and at first I thought she couldn't be replaced until I started seeing Dr. Chappen. She is a first-class doctor, who listens to you, looks you in the eye and hears what you are saying and then discusses and acts upon your condition/medical problems. I would highly recommend her to anyone and so sorry to lose her as my primary care physician.

I was saddened to hear that Dr. Chapman would no longer be able to be my doctor because of a change in her full time status. I will miss her professionalism.

Dr. Chappen lacks the sense of urgency when it comes to various conditions/problems when addressed with her. There is no follow-ups or discussion about following up to determine if further treatment is needed. Often when problems arise and are discussed it's ignored or not treated.

Dr. Chappen has always been an outstanding doctor. I'm very sad to hear of her retirement. She has always provided me with outstanding medical care.

Dr. Chappen informed she would not be there for my next visit, as her husband was ill. She helped me to select a new physician. I have been with her for years, and am going to miss her.

She is a wonderful member of the Geisinger team and I actually don't mind coming for my appts when I'm seeing her. Finally finding a doctor that meets or exceeds my expectations is a great relief.

Dr. Chappen was wonderful - it was the first time I had been to see her, and even though my concerns may have been silly (muscle spasm in back - first time having one), she took them all seriously, was very friendly, and made sure I understood my follow up care

Dr. Chappen never rushes through my appointments. She is a great listener and I always feel she understands me. She explains diagnosis and treatment plan thoroughly.

I will hate to see Dr. Chappen leave she was an excellent dr. for me. I only hope her replacement will be just as caring and on top of medical situations. She is will be missed by her patients and Geisinger.

I have always enthusiastically recommended Dr. Chappen to friends and acquaintances. My only hesitation at this time is that she does not expect to be continuing in the same capacity after April 2017. She is an excellent caregiver and I will miss her tremendously.

I was pretty sure I was my appt was for a diabetic check, but I ended up with a full general physical. I was a bit confused by this and just assumed I was mistaken. I questioned the nurse, but she said the Dr. said it was for a full physical. On a separate note . . . When I was first diagnosed with diabetes I was told I needed to have my A1C checked every 3 months, but I'm currently only having it checked once every six months when I have either a diabetic check or my annual physical. I haven't questioned this, as I probably should.

As an elderly patient, I feel that 6 month visits are too far apart. It should go back to a minimum of 4 months.

I have enormous trust in Dr. Chappen & especially appreciate her attention to prevention/wellness. I now bring my 89 year old mother to her and have recommended her to friends.

don't have high degree of confidence in her expertise. Feel I have to do a lot of background research myself in order to optimize treatment choices/outcomes. Her examinations of relevant data could be more thorough.

Suggested that I see an ENT physician behind EV Hospital and questioned why there when I always go over to the Geisinger Hospital in Danville. Made no sense to me.

While the provider was respectful of us, I did not feel I was listened to. I asked about something I would have liked and thought reasonable to consider for follow up (referral to a specialist), but was told that is not the problem. Time spent with us was about 5 minutes if that and assessment was minimal at best. Again, provider was not disrespectful, but I feel the diagnosis was incorrect, although visit was for a minor issue, and requests for further evaluation were denied.

I am always appreciative of alternative practices, such as treatment for cholesterol (OTC holistic tablets, etc.).
