There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

dr Ayoub has been an asset to geisinger, sad to see him retire, large shoes to fill
Apr 22
very good doctor.
Apr 11
My expectation was to get relief from my symptoms and more insight to my condition than my primary care could provide. My understanding from my primary care was that my problems needed addressed by someone more involved in the specialty. Well, it was a waste of everyone's time. I am no better off than I was this time a year ago. What I am most disappointed with is that I waited so long for answers and help, time I could have spent with someone more concerned/knowledgable. Now I must wait to see my primary care and wait, again, to be referred, most likely to somewhere else for evaluation.
Apr 7
reason for fair=he is retiring in September and I was not happy to just be getting established with him only to have to find someone else in 6 months!

Dr. Ayoub is a fantastic physician in every way
Jul 15, 2015
Dr. Ayoub is solely concerned about my medication dosage but never about other problems having to do with RA, such as mobility. When I first began to see him, I asked about orthotic insoles and orthotic shoe providers in the area, and he didn't know any off the top of his head. I found someone *on my own* later when I had a serious mobility problem that required immediate intervention. I know that a rheumatologist treating RA should be mostly concerned about the medication, but I've always been surprised that he doesn't care about the rest of the RA patient. Furthermore, the reason I actually cared enough to fill out this survey (instead of ignoring the email prompts) is because my most recent visits have been even more underwhelming. Dr. Ayoub used to know who I was or would look at a chart before he came into the exam room, but now I have to explain to him who I am and the basics of my RA history every time I visit. He's a friendly guy generally speaking, but I wonder if he's now coasting toward retirement.
Jul 7, 2015
*Dr. Ayoub is an excellent dr. & caring dr. can't get anyone better.
June 24, 2015
*Dr. Ayoub ask me why I was there he said he saw me in 2007 and he was not going to do anything more for me. He compared me to a 78 y.o. women physical cond. and said you are out of here "pal." I'll show you the way. He was rude insulting, impatient, and very unprofessional my family phy. sent me there for a recheck after 8 years. I didn't ask to go there.
June 10, 2015
Dr. Ayoub was very good and kind - - I would be happy to see him again in the future.
June 9, 2015
