There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

DR told jokes that were inappropriate, made fun of my son's weight, and down played a 104 degree fever. I was less than impressed and will not return ever to see this Dr again. It's too bad my regular pediatrician was not in on this given day!

He seemed very rushed like he didn't have time to really look and explain things.

I repeatedly asked the doctor to have my child's iron levels checked to check for anemia since that has been the leading cause for my light-headedness, weakness and fainting spells. When he was putting in the order for blood work I specifically asked three times if he was including this in the test and after the first request which was after bringing up the anemia for at least the 5th time he said he was and then I asked him 2 additional times because I also wanted her T counts broken down also during the thyroid check. When he called the following day with the results he stated that he didn't order any tests for the anemia and completely dismissed me when I told him that I had specifically asked for them. This is the third time that I have had to take my children to see Dr. Romeo over another health care provider, the first time he misdiagnosed my son with asthma which I was never able to have removed from his record, the next time he dismissed the progression of my son's illness which resulted in another doctor's visit for the same ear infection but with a prescription to actually treat it. He is very dismissive of any input that I have on my children's health and their health history. The only reason I took her to this appointment was because I knew that it would require only additional testing and that it wouldn't rely on his professional knowledge. Unfortunately he wasn't even able to satisfactorily complete that task.
