There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Both the exam & the explanation of it was cursory & superficial. Additionally some of the doctors comments seemed insensitive for person in this profession.

My former Doctor left Geisinger, and this was my first appt with the new Dr. The new Dr seemed very critical of everything my old Dr did. It seemed a bit odd and inappropriate to be discussing my former Dr and his treatment of my condition in that manner in front of me. That was the only negative about my experience with the new Dr.

I am deaf and an ASL interpreter was not provided. I needed to have my hubby restated the information.

He knew I was nervous. He showed concern for my comfort & I felt very comfortable with him. I would definitely recommend him to others.

I was treated with respect of what i was feeling toward the pain i am having and they listened to all that i could give them about my problem and they were willing to do extra care for same problem and that was told about my follow ups
Oct 29, 2015
it took a little to long in waiting area
Oct 28, 2015
Felt the provider addressed my concerns in a condescending manner without taking unique circumstances into account.

I left my appointment very discouraged. I still do not know what is causing the pain. It could be carpal tunnel, it may not be. Notes were to be sent to my dr about the exam. I have no idea if any notes were sent or not. I was told I could continue dealing with the pain or get shots in my wrists. Well, what type of shots, what do they do? After waiting 50 minutes, I was not going to stay longer for answers because of being so upset. It took months to get this appointment. I still have the pain/sleepiness feeling in my arms/wrists/hands and still have no idea why. I have been an employee for over 20 years and I can honestly say that quality care is going downhill. Things are not explained to patients probably because there is not enough time or enough people to do this properly.
