  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Dr. Brink is one of your greatest assets. I would and do trust her implicitly with the lives of my children. Additionally, she tells you like it is, and is balanced in her approach to treatment. When/if Dr. Brink leaves, we will probably not stay with the Geisinger practice.

She ordered follow up tests, and in retrospect, I wish I had been better prepared to interpret the results, which initially caused confusion. She was EXCELLENT in helping to get us a referral to a specialist.

Dr. Brink is the best pediatrician we have ever worked with. I am so thankful she is my son's doctor.

Dr. Brink is always great, and as first-time parents we rely on her experience and advice. At this 1-year visit, in particular, we had some concerns that were not strictly medical (developmental stages, handling transitions, etc) and Dr Brink was patient with us, informative, and very helpful. We appreciate that she is interested in our whole baby.

We have been coming here for 10 years. Never have we had such an awful time. We've had Dr. Brink before and thought she always did a pretty good job. She showed absolutely little compassion for my daughter's extended illness and the fact that she was not responding the way a previous doctor had told us. it seemed like Dr. Brink was trying to be intimidating and showed so little compassion. I also got more information from friends who went to other doctors on this current illness going around and its possible complications than from this practice.

Again, we've had Dr. Brink for 10 yrs w/all my kids. My kids trust and talk to her, but she is clear and direct. On this visit - similar to many others - Dr. Brink gave me helpful, encouraging tips and recommendations. She listened well to my KIDS questions AS WELL AS MINE and was both personable AND professional. I am SO grateful for Dr. Brink!

My husband and I were EXTREMELY disappointed in the care our daughter received from Dr. Brink and also with the way she treated us while we were in there. She spoke in a very derogatory & demeaning manner to us. She criticized us for giving our daughter cough medicine saying she wasn't old enough for that (again, she is 4). When we tried to explain to her that we gave her Children's Delsym and Children's Mucinex and that it said on the box it was for children 4 and up, she raised her voice at us and again, told us our daughter wasn't old enough. After that, she was very rude to us asking us questions regarding our daughter implying in her tone that we are not fit parents. We had been having trouble getting our daughter to drink liquids. She told us (again, rudely), that we HAD to make her drink! If she didn't drink, she would need IV fluids, and she WOULD NOT like that.... Then, she put her hand on the back on our daughter's head while she looked into her throat. Before coming to office, I slightly wet the ENDS of my daughter's hair so they wouldn't be frizzy and fly-away (because my daughter is mixed), then pulled it back into a ponytail. The hair touching her scalp was dry as a bone!! And the ends were barely damp! When she touched her hair, again in a very negative tone she asked, "Why is her hair wet?!?!?" We DID NOT come to the doctor to be degraded, especially in front of our child!! And we DID NOT bring our sick daughter to the doctor to be made to feel as though we were bad parents who didn't care about our child. If we didn't care about her, we wouldn't have been there!!! At the end of her visit, she just got up and walked out of the room. I am not joking when I tell you she literally got up and walked goodbye, no thank you, no "I hope you feel better," NOTHING!! Just got up, opened the door and walked out. I have another older daughter. I have asked the front office staff to mark BOTH of their accounts that we NEVER want to see that woman again!!!!! I don't know what happened... I have a feeling that she may have been upset that she had to squeeze us in, but that was not our fault...that was the fault of her office!! Or, I hate to think this, but my husband and I are a interracial couple. I would HOPE that had nothing to do with it, but she is older and older adults don't tend to deal with that situation as well. BUT....then again, I'm not so sure because I had my older daughter in to see her one other time and she was not pleasant during that visit either. In any event, we are DONE with Dr. Brink!!!! I think it's time for her to retire!

Dr Brink is fabulous. She always helps educate the patient and parent regarding the situation - what may have lead to the problem, how to prevent it in the future, what to do to remedy as well as when to contact her regarding the issue continuing. She takes time to make sure you understand.
