There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Leonie was very kind and listened to my symptoms and issues. She gave me some options on what route we could try with my care to keep me involved as much as possible.

One of the worse providers I have encountered at Geisinger. Very unhelpful and rude. I honestly can't believe the way she behaved during our appointment.

Dr. Leonie was rude, inconsiderate of my concerns, treated me like a text book and had no clue of what I was feeling inside of myself. I had seen her previously and wasn't real impressed with her. This time was the last straw. She had told me the last 3 appointments I had with her that if i continued to have the same complaints and concerns about the ever going non-stop discomfort in my left side that she would look further into and see what was going on. (always going back to you had this done and that done it showed nothing type of responses) with I don't understand where this discomfort comes from we will try this pill if it don't work we will look further into it and well that didn't happen, until I the patient had to become upset and voice my thoughts and request a further test be done at my last appointment. She actually told me that she would order a CT scan for me but that I better not come back on her if my insurance got me with a big co-pay. Really what doctor does that with an ignorant tone of voice. All because i had mentioned earlier in the appointment that I don't always have the money for the co-pay and over an hour worth of travel to get here. She was very ignorant, disreguarded my concerns and made me feel like i was making up these symptoms. She actually walked out of the room while I was still talking and with rudeness in her voice telling the check out lady what was going on with attitude and no compassion for me at all. All she was worried about was pushing more pill, getting me out of her office and trying to make me feel worse about myself because I am a smoker and heavy set as the doctor world would put it OBESE, She has no idea what i deal with in my daily life from depression, anxiety body aches and pain you name it she knows nothing other than text book and get them in and out. She actually wanted to just give me pill and send me on my way again. She was more concerned with me having something to say to her about a co-pay if one came up from ordering a CT-scan than she was my health. Needless to say my advise was better than her knowings. The CT-Scan i pushed for was a smart push on my part. It showed a Kidney Stone 18 mm in size that has been causing this pain. So now I have a urologist on my list of doc's to see now and one possibly 2 procedures that are scheduled to have the 18 mm in size kidney stone removed. Then I come to find out at my Urology appointment that this very kidney stone was found on an X-ray in 2013 but was never addressed or should i save way overlooked. I was also shown the x-Ray and I'm far from a doctor but if I would have seen the white mark that seen on the film, i would have looked further into, but nope not Dr.Duncan or Dr. Leonie they just left a white mark behind my 12th rib cage on the left side go and not 2 years worth of pain dealings later , multiple new pill and money lost for no good cause. I am scheduled to have the problem fixed. Yes I understand this is not in their area of studies but if whats in your corner isn't working and you cant find a reason, why not look out of the box or wait simply read the results properly the first time and take care of your patients need, not the number of people you get in and out the door a day. I'm not very happy about this and will be switching my doctors outside of this whack health system . I would like to see that the doctors actually address all findings on test results.I just found my x-ray results from 2013 where a kidney stone was seen behind my 12th L rib cage and it was never address. Now in 2015 i have to have a urethascopy done to deal with the kidney stone that is 18 mm in size. So I have dealt with the doctor blowing my pain off as if there was nothing going on for 2 yrs to pain regulary followed by a procedure that could have been avoided. Also wouldnt have to add a urologist onto my list of doctors and copay. Very disappointed with the system and Dr. Leonie for treating me like i was full of no knowledge of my own body for the last 2 years and not looking outside the box to find why i had such discomfort. But no she likes to write scripts and push you out the door as if you don't live with own body. I'm not a text book and wish not to be view as one.
