There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Dr. Manus provided my daughter with a good level of care. Unfortunately, when we followed up, it was with a different provider which I think made things more confusing and allowed some issues to get overlooked.

We love Dr. Manus as well as Dr. Kane. If it were not for them, we would go elsewhere for our care!

Of all the doctors in this practice, I was least impressed with Dr Manus

This was our first visit with Dr. Manus and she was excellent, very thorough and explained my son's condition in a manner that both my son and I could undestand.

Absolutely love Dr. Manus. She is extremely thorough and the only reason I am still going to this provider.

this was the first time my son has been seen by Dr Manus. She was very friendly and professional.

This is not related to the doctor, I would recommend them- if I could get them on the phone when needed, this is a phone system issue, and how the call center handles calls....

Was extremely rushed and ran through the exam very quickly. Seemed like there was little time for discussion regarding my daughter. Was less than pleased with the way the doctor was speaking quickly.

Brandon was there for a physical for football, a few days before appointment he was bending over at home and i noticed his back was extremely crooked. he had a growth spurt and I stressed how upset and concerned i was about his back. after the physical she had him stand with his shirt on and bend forward, she started to feel his back and said no, feels fine. If i did not jump up out of my chair and say really? are you sure? I pulled his shirt up and and said you don't think his back is crooked? She said......oh oh yes! He needs an xray. His xray report showed a double curve scoliosis 19 degree thorasic and 29 lumbar. His xray looked like a road map. this report was obviously not good news and he needs to go to a specialist and most likely need a brace. My son was doing hard core football camp and training until I got this report. If i did not insist she look at his back even after she said it is fine, he would of continued to play and it probably would of gotten way worse by the time it was caught. Dr G. is his primary Dr. I called and aske him to please look at report and call me. he did not, I called back and the secretary said oh he wrote a note, if his back does not hurt he can play. Really? That is not what I asked. I aked if it was safe, because most kids do not have back pain with this. I feel lately that we are rushed out the door and no one listens. I am extremely anxious and concerned about this and I have to wait for the specialist to see him.

The Doctor was great, I just wish it were easier to make a simple wellness appointment with her. For instance, this last time I made an appointment for my 1 year old son, we had to wait nearly 5 months to see the Doctor. That is the only downfall.
