There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 40 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

I was not explained the cost of the procedure that I had and it resulted in a $3000. Bill to me. This is frustrating. I do not think it is the Dr's place to discuss the finances of a procedure but, it should be discussed that the financial office would contact me and then the fi a coal office should do just that. $3000. Is not a small amount of money to me and is a huge stress as to how I will pay it.

Dr. Young is always very courteous, listens with interest to what you have to say and doesn't ever make you feel demeaned in any way as I've had some medical providers do in the past when you voice an issue and what your concern is that it may potentially be. He is very open.

Actually, the visit resulted in the doctor explaining n detail why the process that I anticipated was no longer necessary, but took as long as I needed for a clear explanation. No meds involved.
