I discovered I had a malignant skin cancer and my appointment was a brief surgical procedure to address this. Dr. Wood was wonderful! He explained everything to me and may me feel very at ease. He was compassionate, kind, and I felt his demeanor helped me to relax. He made me feel like a partner in my health care rather than just a patient. That was very important to me.

Total 'team' took special care because of wifes concern for BLOOD- special treatment of f/w care in office.

D. Wood was very polite and professional but it was clear he had not done this before. Needed instructions on how to do it. Admitted they do not do this procedure very often, and I believe he had never done it. Would likely go somewhere else if I had to do it again.

Dr. Woods is very professional with an excellent "bedside" manner. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. While doing the procedure he talked to me which made me feel more comfortable.

Dr. Wood performed a procedure where he froze an area of skin with a "raspberry mark" on it, using an aerosol canister, saying that it would be a quick and simple procedure. Two weeks later the area is still scarred and discolored. It looks like it may have been badly frostbitten. I was not informed of what to realistically expect in terms of discomfort or healing time for this area.

Dr. Woods is terrific. This is second time I have had him for surgery to remove basal cells. Each time, he was professional and yet displayed excellent patient care. He explained what was about to occur and helped to make me comfortable. Without any prompting, he discussed how the scars could be treated and seemed to truly care about how I felt about the surgery and outcomes.

You need help with your survey construction. a start would be adding a not apply choice. For example, I did not use medications

At the end of the examination I wasn't told if I should wait in the exam room after I dressed or just go to the checkout. I waited in the exam room for awhile then decided I would just leave. Maybe there should be a Call button for the nurse in the exam room, or a sign that says "please wait here after you finish dressing" or "please proceed to the checkout after you finish dressing."
