There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

For question #5, 6 this is N/A. For #8, it was the end of the day and I was the last patient or I believe he would have taken more time to explain and discuss my situation. For #9 & 10 I had just a brief time with Dr. Vadakara. I really can't form a well-informed decision at this time.

He was very good, but the most complex parts of the bloodwork were not ready until a few days later, so I was left with questions. It might be good to have bloodwork scheduled a few days earlier than the appointment, so patient can discuss with doctor.

Since CLL does not have a cure at this point - it is very difficult to stay positive and feel sure about information given to me.
