  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Dr. Sarkar did an excellent job explaining my condition very clearly.

Dr. Sarkar explained that surgery is a last resort for my condition. He recommended exercise and pain management. The most comforting thing he told me - My back can hurt me, but I can't hurt my back. I feel I can work hard at the exercises. So far very good ~ 1 month.

Very thorough explanation of options etc., using MRI data.

The care provider (Dr. Sarkar) is very good. His PA (Lori Stocker) is a little rough around the edges, but is still very good and knowledgeable about patient needs, and concerns.#3. The PA.#4. PA.

I met with Laurie Stoker, PA. She is absolutely wonderful! She makes me fell so at ease and thoroughly discusses any and all concerns. She even went so far as to help with make a test more doable. I just love her!!!

I did - not like the questions the doctor asked me or his recommendation that I should have a risky surgery. My condition was not fully explained, nor risks mentioned about putting off surgery.

Dr. Sarkar was excellent!

He said about seeing a nutritionist, and maybe getting gastric bypass surgery! I thought that was very rude to say about the gastric bypass surgery, when seeing a nutritionist. If your in really bad pain because of your herniated disc how can you lose weight?!

We could not have been more pleased with dr. He was very supportive of our decision. He had never seen patient before but we were confident he gave good advice.

Wasted my time. Told me he would not operate on me because I smoke/should of been informed prior to consult so he get paid for NOTHING!
