  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Dr. Sahin made me feel bad for the information I told her almost as if she was judging me. She is not the most kind person.

very good

It is frustrating that I spent so much time explaining symptoms to a physician's assistance over several appointments before seeing the doctor and none of that information seems to have been shared with the doctor, or she did not thoroughly read my chart.

I felt the doctor was not at all concerned with my well being, she did not listen to what I had to say, during the procedure, which went horribly wrong she did not once offer any encouraging words, when she was finished with the procedure, she said "you have to go to the ER now" and left me bleeding heavily on the table. She did not return, as I was being wheeled out, I saw her sitting in her office on her computer,

Dr. Sahin took her time with me and answered all of my questions during my appointment. She also allayed any fears that I had regarding a particular issue. she is very professional, knowledgeable, and personable.

On occasion, I could not understand her questions/explanations but the nurse explained things again to me. Overall, she was a great doctor who I am very happy I am in her care.

Excellent.

I appreciate the doctor's very direct and frank manner, though it also came across as rushed. I did not feel encouraged to ask in-depth questions or offer extra details. It made me frustrated and uncertain. I think part of my experience has to do with the fact that the visit involved a painful exam that made me feel vulnerable--I cannot really speak to the doctor's actual skill and knowledge. I didn't come out of it with enough information about what was going to happen next.

Provider wasn't very gentle during exam and made me feel uncomfortable.
Jan 28
The physician did not explain the name or type of medication prescribed, just that it was a "cream". No instructions on how to use it. She walked right out of the exam room without asking me which pharmacy I wanted to use and just chose whatever she wanted in my file which was the WRONG pharmacy and I had to have it transferred to the correct one that works with my insurance to have it filled.

I had a very difficult time understanding her. It was uncomfortable for me and I am thinking about changing to a different provider.

I had a very bad experience with my biopsy and my LEEP and will not be returning to this doctor for any future procedures.

First visit with this doctor and I felt like she did a good exam based on my experiences with previous exams. Glad to have been referred to her by my primary doctor.

Dr. Sahin explains everything very well & takes her time to answer all questions you have. I recommend her to everyone!!

Dr. Sahin knows I bring questions, she answers them thoroughly, and even then follows up with, "any more questions?".

Doctor was excellent and gave me lots of time and opportunity to ask questions.

I have already recommended Dr. Sahin to my sister! I was a little wary at first because my original physician left the practice and I was more or less "assigned" to Dr. Sahin and figured I would just go for my annual exam and then find someone--but she proved my doubts wrong. She is one of the most caring physicians I have ever seen. Dr. Sahin really takes time with you, listens, and gives you options while explaining benefits and risks. I am very confident in her abilities and will not hesitate to recommend her to others.
