There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Dr. Ambrose listened attentively to my concerns & REALLY seemed to care; he also mentioned changing to another blood thinner & told me both pros & cons about it.

Dr. Ambrose was excellent during the time I spent with him during my appointment. However, he relegated the follow-up phone call which included notification of an ABNORMAL stress test EKG result, to a nurse under these circumstances I prefer to speak with the physician as I'm his patient, not the nurses.

After briefly meeting Dr. Ambrose in the emergency room, I wasn't sure if I wanted to see him again, I was pleasantly surprised when we met at this appoint. After explaining my personal situation, he was very understanding & sympathetic. He did prescribe a medication that could relieve some of my angina. He encouraged me to let him know how the meds were working out. Look forward to seeing him again!

As I stated before no bad experience!

I did most of the talking. I was very nervous. I have bad anxiety and he listened well but was not friendly or kind. Maybe I was looking for reassurance or more help but I felt uncomfortable. I do not think he understood how I was struggling or how I was coming across I almost felt like he didn't like me.

I am still having issues after having my pacemaker implanted - I have been to ER x2 in 2 wks - cp - _____ - SOB. I am on a new med - depending on outcome, if nothing can be done, I will have no choice but to go ELSEWHERE.
