  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Dr Keiter was excellent - very caring and thorough
Dec 15, 2016
I appreciated that she wrote down information and suggestions/dosages (since I was sitting in a hospital gown without easy access to a pen and paper).
Nov 4, 2016
she listens unconditional

Excellent!9. Excellent!
Oct 28, 2016
My physician is very caring and provides excellent care even though I am one of the aging individuals in the health care system.
Oct 25, 2016
Dr. Keiter always listens to everything I have to say and doesn't push me to take meds or treatment I don't want to do. Explains options, pros and cons, but respects my decision.
Oct 18, 2016
Dr Keiter prescribed a mammogram because I am experiencing breast soreness& discomfort. She did not contact me after results were provided. I got the results on myGersinger and then a follow-up letter. Results were no cancer, but I still have the problem. Dr Keiter did not give me any other advice regarding what the issue might be, nor did she contact me to come in for a follow up after the mammogram to see if I was still having the issue. Still have problem, no resolution.

Could not ask for a better PCP.
Sep 29, 2016
Dr. Keiter always satisfies, and many times exceeds, my expectations in a doctor. By doing so, she makes the visit relaxed and free of any stress.
Sep 16, 2016
Dr. Keiter provides a very relaxed atmosphere every time I visit her. Her patience and concern when evaluating my issues shows true professionalism.

I have recommended my doctor to others and they are now under her care.

I wish the care provider would use bigger words with me and give me more scientific information about solutions as I have a PhD in Biology. I avoided the doctor for over a week with this problem out of fear that they merely would tell me to take an ibuprofen and use an ice pack. I have a very busy schedule and dont like to waste time with such advice. This is exactly what I was told. No long term solutions or potential explanations or even a diagnosis was provided. The doctor merely felt my foot and said, "yep there is some swelling". I asked whether it could be related to arthritis which runs in the family and got a "maybe". I was not given any information for care beyond ibuprofen and cold pack which dont work so I am left with no solutions besides ones I am trying off the internet. I also feel like the potential for this to be arthritis with no info on arthritis given was insensitive. I am young and if I have arthritis that is a big deal to me! When I left the room the doctor went into the next room and within earshot apologized to the person next door about how long it took. I dont remember the exact words but it was clear she had squeezed me in while this person was getting a test run and was trying to go faster than I allowed her. This was especially clear since a nurse peaked her head in and reported the results of the other persons test in front of me. When I left she said I could get xrays next door. She didnt think I really needed it but maybe some info can be found -- thats how she said it. I went up to the receptionist and checked out and said to check me into radiology. The receptionist gave me the paperwork and told me to have a seat. 40 minutes later the nurse asked what I was there for and said I was not checked in. The receptionist looked at me, shrugged, and said she had never seen me and that I did not check in. I was so irate that I just got up and left. I was also the only person in the waiting room so I dont know how the receptionist had not seen me.

she diagnosed me with hand throat and mouth and I knew I didn't have that. I get sinus infections about 5 times out of the year and she wasted my time. My husband just had the same thing and we told her that. She is the worst Doctor I have ever seen. I had to go pay someone else to see me to get the medicin I needed. It's sad I can't rely on my primary care provider.

Aug 11, 2016
did not receive any papers with information
Aug 2, 2016
Even though it was the end of the day, I did not feel like I was being rushed through.
Jul 22, 2016
Dr. Keiter gave me a choice which I appreciated concerning medication. I don't go to the Doctor unless I know that I need more than over the counter medication. I knew i had a sinus infection and one I was given the antibiotic (z pac) i started feeling better within 6 hours.
Jul 15, 2016
dr.keiter seemed to understand my issues when I was there
Jul 14, 2016
Dr Keiter is very easy to talk to and makes me feel at ease, I'm not theirDr. Keiter is very easy to talk to and makes me feel comfortable, she is a good listener.
June 30, 2016
Dr. Keiter provides an excellent care experience. I have absolute faith in her recommendations.
June 27, 2016
Dr. Keiter is an excellent physician. She addressed all of my concerns and expressed a concern she found. In regards to medications - this is not Dr. Keiter's fault, but more the pharmaceutical company's. I was going to try a new med until I found out it will cost me $100 for a 30 day supply. Really? Outrageous! And I have insurance.
June 20, 2016
dr Keiter always takes whatever time is needed and asks about other concerns besides major one
June 20, 2016
Dr. Keiter is so great, and I recommend her often!
June 13, 2016
Dr. Keiter is very caring. Her explanations are excellent and easy to understand.
June 5, 2016
I have never been so displeased with a Geisinger doctor I left in tears and was in just as much or more pain than when I arrived. I will not be paying my co-pay for this visit; Geisinger may send me to collection over the non payment of my copay.

Dr. Keiter listened to me and explained the options I had. This was a pre-op visit for knee replacement surgery and she recommended an additional test, which I did based on her recommendation.
May 17, 2016
This was a routine six-month checkup and there were no problems or conditions, decisions about treatment, medication instructions, etc.
May 16, 2016
Dr Keiter is inconsistent in all things with me. I'm not confident in anything she does. when I ask her questions, she asks me what I want to do. I'm not a doctor, she's paid to be one, but seems incompetent to me.
May 16, 2016
excellent physician
May 9, 2016
I have recommended Dr. Keiter to my neighbors.
May 9, 2016
I did not feel that this doctor cared about my concerns. To her, they seemed to be no big deal, while for me they were genuine issues. Also, a paper handout with information is fine as a supplement to explanation, but I don't appreciate it being given as the sole solution for my issue. To address concerns about gastro-intestinal discomfort, the doctor simply handed me a sheet about a particular diet without much explanation.
Apr 28, 2016
Dr. Keiter was very helpful in assisting me with getting a follow up appointment with my primary care doctor in the Bellefonte location.
Apr 28, 2016
Apr 26, 2016
Dr. Keiter never really assesses my health - I feel I have to initiate my concerns & how to solve them. Very frustrating.
Apr 21, 2016
This is an addendum to my response to question number 9 -- there should be a category of "excellent." I have more than one medical issue -- nine times out of ten, I'm good at sorting through which specialist I should contact. When I'm in doubt, Dr. Keiter, my general practioner, is the ONLY one I trust to fit all the pieces of my full health picture together and guide me accordingly.
Apr 15, 2016
Most times we need an appointment she is out and I have had to see another doctor.
March 31, 2016
I am always very pleased with Dr. Keiter's manner and expertise.

Too many mix up w/meds in one day plus a nurse commented that I was one of many med mix ups that day!
