This provider sees patients at the following locations:

Radiation Oncology Danville
100 N Academy Ave
Danville, PA 17822

There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Dr. Christie & Pat Murphy were super in the (5) five years I have been in their care.

DR Christie needs to learn social skills and how to communicate. He didn't review my chart prior to seeing me and had no idea of who I was. I understand he sees many pts but please review the chart and have an idea of the pt you will see. My first visit on the treatment plan went like this....looking at my chart , "how many tx do you want" discussing the study from Canada that I had been told about after the tumor board met, "oh no, you need 25...no you need 30." When asked why was given an answer that wasn't correct after speaking with Dr Leeming. I understand he's "brilliant", was told that often but when you're coming to terms with having cancer and trying to actually work while going through it, I needed more. He also needs to keep his pants up. Very unprofessional. Once or twice he actually had a brief conversation with me. When telling others, those who had been through this before, who my radiation oncologist was, was told "I wish I would have known that because I would have told you to see......"

PAs should keep alert that Bloomsburg residents can more conveniently receive phlebotomy, CAT scans, etc., at Bloomsburg Geis. Hospital and not automatically schedule everything in Danville.

Dr. Christie could talk more. He does a lot on his computer.

Mr. Murphy PA was very nice, concerned and spent time with my husband time. Good exam and answered all our questions. Dr. Christie spent about 3 minutes if that with us.

Dr. Christine always felt rushed, he forgot I was in room waiting to see him 2 times, even asked me why I was there.
Apr 5
Too early in my treatment now.

Difficult to rate Dr. Christie in all the questions because he is learning the procedure to be done. Another doctor will be doing procedure & he will be assisting. We were not told about taking antibiotic prior to procedure to be done, until checkout desk, so another dr. wrote the prescription. He did very well in describing procedure & using diagrams in computer.

Quote from physician "I have nothing else to say to you. I will see you every six months. If Dr. Smith thinks I can, do anything _____ you she'll let you know!
