There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Excellent Doctor.

Dr. Alaparthi was very nice & friendly. When I called the hospital to make my appt. I had no idea who he was. The lady I talked to could sense I had some concerns & she said he was a very good doctor & was sure I would like him. That made me feel a lot better. He was very nice.

Nurse said that the doctor would be in in a few minutes, and a PA came in. She was not very friendly and chewed gum the whole time. That's not very professional. The surgeon then came in and was not at all friendly. He just gave the impression that he did not want to be there and wasn't very interested or concerned. His conversation was very limited, and his English was poor. So much for "caring." I had to read my own radiology report online. There was no communication from the PA or doctor.
