  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

I have had surgeons in past, this experience was very good as Dr. Lyness is straight forward and explains my issues and what can be done for them.

Dr. Lyness and her resident were very nice. I have supreme confidence in Dr. Lyness.

My only hesitation in not marking highest often for areas involving explanations was my fault, not doctors. It's my own uncertainty about what causes my pain, and what to do about it. Not easy to explain how to decide what to do.

She had no interest in my case. She was ill prepared. She acted as though we woke her from a nap. She never reviewed my MRI results with me.I am a health care professional and was shocked at her demeanour. I have traveled to Philadelphia to the Rothem Institute and cannot say enough great things about them. Your professional staff could take a lesson from them.

Dr. Lyness was amazing. She is a fantastic doctor. She is down to earth and explained everything extremely clearly. I am extremely happy that she was the surgeon I was refered to!
