There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 40 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

I was informed that I am diabetic via email. The medicines he was prescribing for me were not named and information was not given about them. The email said "this had to stop now" concerning gaining more weight...but no meal plan/diet/weight management information was given. In addition....the first available appt with the weight management team is October 21!! That is ridiculous!! We want you to lose weight now but wait 3 MONTHS before we give you any information about a diabetic diet.

*Dr. Pilgram is totally relatable even though he could have used his intelligence to talk above my level - he didn't. I really appreciated his connectability.

I was having severe back, leg foot pain. Dr. Pilgram x-rayed my foot only. Putting me on Prednisone only for pain/treatment. I went to another Dr. in state finding out I have hemorrhaged/bulging disks pinching a nerve!!

Feb 20, 2015

Feb 19, 2015
I asked the doctor about the possibility of getting off my cholesterol medicine by changing my diet. His response was why would you want to do that. Why shouldn't want to strive for a healthier body without medicine. I think doctors should be encouraging patients to get healthy through a healthy diet and life style, not by be a pill pusher.
Feb 16, 2015
Doc. took tlme to E-mail me about question I had.
