There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one or more of the following reasons:
  1. He or she does not see patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
  2. He or she sees patients, but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is accurate and statistically reliable.
  3. He or she is a community provider, not a Geisinger-employed provider. Community providers tend to see patients in their own private outpatient practices, which we do not survey.

Dr. Kershenovich was over an hour late to our appointment. He sent a PA (who was very nice) to get started and take the history; however, when Dr. Kershenovich walked in he hadn't even touched base with the PA so we had to give the history all over again (for the 4th time- filled it out on the form that no one read, told the nurse, then the PA, then the Dr. himself). He had not even bothered to look in our child's chart because the first thing he asked was if our baby was a boy or a girl. He then proceeded to step out of the exam room to take a personal phone call. He spent all of 5 minutes with us, and at the very end as we were leaving, he said, "So this was a normal full-term birth and pregnancy?" He hadn't even noticed that our baby's twin was sleeping in his car seat and it came as a surprise when I said it was a twin gestation and they were premature. There is really nothing I can recommend about Dr. Kershenovich. He was courteous, but his actions made us feel like our child was not important to him. I would not recommend him to others.

Rushed, did not examine my child. Looked at his head & that was it.

The doctor was not helpful at all with the concerns we had for our child - he did not even examine our child just told us there was nothing wrong/we had an MRI done & he did not review it with us/we took our child to another hospital & were very satisfied.
