I was expecting a lot more than I got for a 75 minute appointment. I was hoping to learn a lot more about Parkinson's than I did. The nurse practitioner could not even recommend a good book to read up on the illness. The nurse practitioner and the doctor or both responsive to my chief complaint of depression, fatigue, and apathy. In the end, Nothing was done about it. In my view, I drove two hours each way to Danville for nothing. I am beyond angry and disappointed with the lack of response what I consider serious mental health issues. I wonder how much of the psychiatric referral rejection has to do with my health insurance, which is medical assistance. People were generally nice, but I felt like a piece of cattle, processed in and processed out. if I can't get proper treatment from a place like Geisinger, where in the **** am I supposed to go? Thanks for nothing.

I have recommended Dr Holland many times, especially since until just recently people want to find a good neurologist, as there were few locally

I recommend Dr. Holland to those who suffer with MG and are not happy. His care & compassion is above all else. I appreciate him & trust him 100% for my care.

I have never had a doctor apologize for my inconvenience. We live in Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA and the first available appointment was in Wilkes-Barre. We chose to stay in a hotel as my appt. was @ 7:45 a.m. He apologized for our need to stay in a hotel. WOW!!!

Dr. Holland was the ONLy dr. who gave me a way to contact his office if I should need to following my ER visit AND the only dr. who spoke with me about my condition and quickly had his office schedule an appt. made me feel like I mattered.

Dr Holland is the only care provider I have seen at Geisinger that I would recommend to anyone else.

PA spent a fair amt. of time with us but dr. spent very little time in the room.
